The importance of a reliable quality in fruits and vegetables is increasing rapidly. Product quality and food safety are important issues that are tightly linked within our company, and for good reason. Therefore Euro West works according to the current standards in the market: those set by BRC, IFS, RIK and SKAL.

And in our own production chain we keep a tight rein on the quality. We only work with suppliers who, like us, are certified so they can ensure their quality. Hygiene gets maximum attention. Advanced systems for tracking and tracing help us to ensure that the entire trail can be monitored, right back to the source. Because when it comes to quality, every detail counts.

Optimum control over quality

Quality begins the instant products are sent to us for further processing. A team of qualified inspectors is ready to closely assess each batch. Is the quality according to your assignment? The quality check entails much more than just the product. A continuous process of inspection at the packaging lines is part and parcel to the Quality Protocol. Once packed or repacked, a last inspection follows before orders are transported to their final destination. This gives you 100% guarantee about the quality you require.

BRC
In addition to systems such as HACCP and ISO, the CBL-BRC-code was developed in 2001. It is the standard for retail organizations wishing to comply with their legal obligations and to protect the consumer. The BRC Global Standard-Food provides the criteria in reference to the areas of safety, quality as well as procedures for manufacturers supplying food to retailers or any other users of this standard.

IFS
IFS stands for International Food Standard, a certification scheme developed by German retailers. Also French supermarkets use the label more often. The content of the International Food Standard is similar to the BRC Global Standard. The objective is to ensure food-safety and hygiene throughout the food chain.

Regulations Internal Quality
The RIK (Regulations Internal Quality) focuses on companies with their own internal quality system. As they participate in the RIK, they can gain certain advantages in the quality checks of exports, imports and the internal market.

Skal
The independent organization Skal monitors the organic production in our country. Skal stems from the foundation Ekomerk Control, which protects consumers when buying organic agriculture and horticulture products.
